The two things in our mission: Design the Ideal Future, Serve its Realization. They are not two stages in order; they run together, and neither one ends.
In practice, the two feed each other. It is only when we try to realize a future we have designed that we start to see what we could not see before, and what we see, we use to redraw it. Design, engineering and operation all sit inside that one loop, which is why we keep what we build running alongside our clients and change it as their business changes.
You can see it in the relationships we keep. Several of our clients have come back to us not once but again and again, and some have stayed with us for years. Most of our work today grows out of relationships like those.
Relationships that last, though, need a team that can keep supporting them. When we imagined a future in which we had our own engineering team, one engineer from Nepal joined us. That relationship grew into N.D.S. Venture, our engineering team in Kathmandu.
Capable people and good ideas are not found in only one place. So alongside our head office in Tokyo and the team in Kathmandu, we are now growing into Southeast Asia, where a team spread across time zones can stay with our clients through more of their working day.
Holding all of it together are three words. Explore, Practice, Harmony. We keep learning, we act on what we learn, and we look after the people and the society we work in.
It comes back to one belief. A continuous, long-term relationship matters more than one big one-off project, because that relationship is the backbone of realizing the ideal future. We want to be a company our clients trust and a company our team is proud of, and that is what we work at, every day.
